Gasthof Baeckerwirt in Chamerau

In October 2020 my wife and I stayed here for a long weekend cycling holiday. The guests are treated in a friendly and courteous manner. Small special requests on our part were gladly and promptly fulfilled. The rooms are well equipped with modern bathrooms. Due to the corona, great importance is attached to cleanliness! Despite the current situation, it was possible to offer a good and rich breakfast. The homemade Leberkas was particularly delicious - at this point, thanks again to the house butcher! In the evening there was also excellent food a la carte. You can tell that a butcher's shop belongs to the hotel. Conclusion: we were here for the first time and certainly not for the last time! Thank you for the wonderful time.

The best rascals I've ever eaten in my life. And I've already eaten quite a few 😅 you can immediately taste the old craftsmanship and the selection of the best jam and other ingredients. Really excellent. Otherwise all products are perfect and delicious. The rolls are also highly recommended. 🤩

We were also at the baker's again. And again everything was great - except for the weather! We will be back! A little tip: the filet pfandl is unbeatably delicious!

Very good Bavarian food. The price-performance ratio is great and the restaurant is really worth a visit. Nice service and really good, tasty dishes.

We had lunch here (goulash soup, beef with horseradish sauce). Both were good. However, the staff was stressed because there were probably too few and we would have to wait a bit. Dishes were inexpensive.

The food is good, the portions are large. The porcini mushrooms were mushrooms ... The grated cucumber peel 🥒 in the salad 🥗 wasn't great. Nicely located beer garden. Soap 🧼 in the sanitary facilities wouldn't be bad! Friendly service!

Excellent food, always fresh, the owners are delighted. There is a small playground for children, and a place for the disabled.

Nice beer garden, fair prices, nice service. Ideal as a final or intermediate time for a canoeist and for cyclists. There is also a playground for children. What more do you want? I can't complain and would be happy to recommend the baker's host. Maybe we'll come back when we're in the area again.

We ate here at the end of our canoe tour and it was amazing. The view is great and the service very nice and very fast. We tried a wide variety of dishes and each was tasty to very tasty. We would like to come again!!

Nice inn on the level of a 3 star hotel. There are plenty of parking spaces and a beer garden. Check in uncomplicated and simply friendly. The room was on the first floor. Unfortunately no elevator in the neighboring guest house. Single room from the size sufficient. The bathroom is big enough and clean and newly renovated. The breakfast was sufficient and enough of the variety. Espresso on request. Price is absolutely ok from the performance.

Rooms in excellent condition. Despite being located on the village's main road, very quiet rooms. Great restaurant, also popular with locals. Butcher and bakery next door if you want to take regional foods home. Very nice and helpful personnel.

Great personal, good food, good beer, nice atmosphere. The room is cosy but nothing special. Stayed for one night.
